Feedly is supposed to be a good replacement for GReader. I installed my own RSS reader on ODonnellWeb. I’m done depending on free services.

We use Google Apps at work so I’m stuck with it there. I’m moving ODonnellWeb to get better email. I’ve got the email set up already. ODonnellWeb is paid up through Nov so no rush on the move.

Taking Delaney for her first campus visit tomorrow – U Maryland. Is there any way to make her 8 again?

Yeah, Google is doing its best to piss off the users. I read lots of blogs in Reader and haven’t found a good replacement yet. I won’t use the new Gmail. The compose feature really is that bad.

I’m breaking up with Gmail. When they announced the shutdown of Google Reader it was the last straw. I’m still searching for an email provider to go with. Unfortunately the email services where I host ODonnellWeb really suck. I may just move the blog to a new host with a decent email offering.

This study couldn’t be more bogus. Comparing injured to non-injured children does not prove vaccine safety. It more proves a subset of vulnerable children are injured while a majority are not. And it actually proves exposure of some form DOES cause autism in this subset. This is merely a slippery attempt to misinform the public.

There’s a Do Not Track add-on in FF and Chrome. Used to be called DoNotTrack+ but now I think it’s DoNotTrackMe. It actually blocks the tracking cookies that Walmart and other retailers like to stick on your hard drive. That’s what I had to disable in order to get their website to work.
