We’re not handing out candy this year. It’s eeeeevil.

During this period demons are assigned against those who participate in the rituals and festivities. These demons are automatically drawn to the fetishes that open doors for them to come into the lives of human beings. For example, most of the candy sold during this season has been dedicated and prayed over by witches.

I do not buy candy during the Halloween season. Curses are sent through the tricks and treats of the innocent whether they get it by going door to door or by purchasing it from the local grocery store. The demons cannot tell the difference.

Yes, candy is eeeeeevil. But is it concentrated Evil? That’s what I want to know.

So maybe I should protect the kids and eat all this candy myself? 🙂

I don’t get it — the Christians took over pagan harvest and tributes-to-the-dead festivals as Halloween, just as they did the pagan winter lights festivals as Christmas.

What possible reasoning now makes this theologically and historically ignorant faction so dead-set against one now, and so crusading-protective of the other?

No, it’s true Daryl. You have no idea how busy I’ve been this past couple of months. I’ve worn my cursing finger to the bone over candies. Whew! At least it’s all done now and I can just concentrate on roasting some babies for the festivities tonight. 😉

I loved how she thought “Halloween” meant “hallowed to Satan.” She’s so ignorant, she doesn’t even know the history of the holiday.

Of course, that’s never stopped a wingnut from opining before, so why should she be the first?

I don’t care for the door-to-door candy collection either but I don’t have to make my disinclination to participate into some cosmic morality concern. . .

I think when I person creates this many demons to live inside their head, then lives their lives in fear of them, one is deeply troubled.

This isn’t about Halloween or candy; it’s about mental illness.

Apparently this started over at CBN in a blog column by one Kimberly Daniels. It has since been removed and none of the links to it seem to work anymore but Huffington Post has some very similar language quoted in their article:

Who’s Kimberly Daniels? And what’s she got against candy?
