Now she wants to do the trains and buses what she’s done to air travel.

But public anger is likely to be heightened today after Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano revealed tightened security could also be introduced on trains and boats.

What about Times Square or tree lighting ceremonies? And going to sporting events or the mall? Why is travel the only time we need to be “safe?” Maybe the country should just go nudist…

Seriously, though, I’m glad I don’t have any pressing needs to fly right now – I’m hoping this stuff will go away. I’m not holding my breath, though, and I’m wondering how I’ll travel in the future.

But she’s not wrong — so many public places equally justify fourth amendment suspension once you accept the rationale of the airport invasions as government saving us from ourselves. There was a SuperBowl blowing-up movie, Black Sunday. Speaking of which, Black Friday last week is a potential terrorism target too, literally at Target.

And what about DisneyWorld and our other FL theme parks? (More hands-in-pants fun for the kiddies while adults tell them it will save them so submit, just like the uniformed priests doing the groping behind closed doors except there it’s Church instead of State.)

So I wish I believed Napolitano was doing this as a “modest proposal” a la Swift. She probably isn’t, but what if we did?

Good. Let’s make it even LESS appealing for people to travel, shop or attend events. That will do wonders for our economy…NOT!
