HUH?
From an article about a home for pregnant teens:
The girls will participate in classes that include parenting, life skills, financial practices and home schooling.
I really have no idea what they meant to say. Guesses?

Maybe it would have been more easily understood if they had written: The girls will participate in classes that include parenting, life skills, and financial practices. They will also be working toward earning their high school diplomas through a home schooling program provided by the Darlene Bishop Home for Life facility. That’s my guess on what’s going on there. The young women live at the home during their pregnancy and take lifestyle classes as well as work on something called “homeschooling.” You might not call it homeschooling, but they do because the girls aren’t going to the local public school. (Again, my guess.) |
