    Thr writer apparently skipped school when they did sensitivity training. That was harsh. Sometimes the truth hurts.

    Yep – very harsh. There’s an opportunity for someone to write an improved version of this that would really be a wakeup call for folks that don’t appreciate the seriousness of what is going on in our schools.

    He’s dead on about the ignorance regarding this country’s history and culture. This book is a good read on that topic:

    Heroic, I like the sound of that. Desperate? Never once, though admittedly a lot of the people who call or write me for advice are.

    It would have been a good article except for the liberal bashing. Am I the only liberal out here homeschooling? Sometimes it feels like it.

    No, just teasing. I’m liberal on a lot of stuff — just not at any intersection where my money, the government, and society meet.
