If you haven’t seen it, here’s some scary video of one 14-year-old middle-schooler’s busride to school. (Make sure to allow pop-ups)

I almost feel like I’m stalking your blog today, there are so many things to comment on that I can relate to today.

Yesterday at an elementary school my neice attends, a boy shoved a little girl that was behind my neice in the line going to recess. The girl was shoved hard enough to come off her feet and land on my neice’s shoulders. This forced my neice to the ground, where she broke her hand.

    This incident was deemed “accidental”.

Two hours later, while my neice was at the hospital with her mom, this same boy again ‘accidentally’ shoved the first little girl during P.E. My neice revealed to her mom that the boy in question always picks on that first little girl, cause she’s ‘too small to really be in 3rd grade’. Needless to say there are tons of meeting that went on today between my Sis-in-law, the mother of girl #1, and the school.
Apparently, until my neice provides a written account of the boy’s previous bullying sessions, it will still be considered an ‘accident’ that he shoved the same little girl twice, injuring another child the first time, and the intended the second.

There’s always the option of filing assault charges with the police. That’s what I would do, if I didn’t get satisfaction from the school PDQ.
