    Newsday has a thought-provoking column on teen sex and the media. Sheryl McCarthy pretty much blames MTV for the sad state of affairs (although parents take a hit, too). Her point would have been better taken, though, without the racy Victoria’s Secret ad running down the right side of the column.

    I didn’t get the Victoria’s Secret ad, even after reloading the page a few times 😉

    And I’m not sure the trend of not having a date for the prom is really a good thing. Working up the courage to ask someone is a big deal. Also, I’m sort of looking forward to the moment when I can make my daughter’s prom date sweat as he assures me they will be home early 🙂 Assuming she goes to some sort of prom that is…

    Me neither. I’m not sure if she realizes that PP is part of the problem with their inaccurate “safe sex” stuff (not to mention the “A” word).
