    I just love honeysuckle. I shot this one yesterday up in southeastern PA. The sky really was that blue.

    UPDATE: More flower photos here. These are pretty raw. You get what you pay for, I guess.

    Wow, that is a nice shot. It’s so isolated. All honeysuckle I’ve ever seen is in a big clump. I was trying to teach my kids the other day how to drink the nectar by pulling out the flower but I can’t remember how to do it. Maybe I’ll help the world of wildflowers by refraining.

    Thanks. This was on the end of a long vine sitting on top of a fence. I happened to be at the right position to catch it framed against the sky.

    Pull one of the flowers off. Grab the bottom with you fingernails. Pull. The “something” (pistil? stamen?) will come out along with a tiny drop of liquid.
