Here’s a lot more detail on the illegal strike planned for 9/27. I’ve got an idea on how to prevent the strike- threaten to strip any teacher who walks out of tenure. Dollars to donuts the strike would fizzle in a NY minute. (Credit: Deb)

A strike will be great. If it goes on long enough perhaps the parents will realise they can do a better job themselves and not bother to send their kids back.

“Neal said parents should blame the governor instead. And he said the action has to somehow inconvenience the public to be effective”

Be careful what you ask for.

Do these idiots not realize EVERYONE’S healthcare costs are going up? Oh yeah, they’re a labor union – no logic required.

The folks in Kentucky can’t afford to be residents – they have to pay their increased health insurance AND the union sheep’s too.

The quote they use – the highest amount for family coverage – is not that bad. $600/mo isn’t outrageous for full family coverage.
