DE COSTER, II
As promised, here’s Karen De Coster’s extended rant. In all honesty, I think De Coster missed the point of the column. I just re-read it and I still don’t think it’s anti-homeschooling. It seems to me that it’s just a very weak attempt at humor.

I don’t know if she missed the point of the article, so much as she is offended by the way the article’s author uses homeschooling as an indicator of oversheltering. I see your point though, it was a small attempt at humor, so maybe not as rant-worthy as the Akron stuff. |
