    Well, obviously, Falwell’s efforts were just to cover up the facts that he “kidnapped” and is “holding prisoner” the girl from United Arab Emirates. ;o)

    I’m guessing the SpongeBob story is a pre-emptive strike? Nothing on Dobson’s site about it. Although the Times was pretty disingenuous- the only way the chopped up quotes of Dobson they give are incorrect is if the creators of SpongeBob haven’t given permission for We Are Family Foundation to use the character. According to the video creator’s site: “The producers and performers from each show embraced the spirit and message of this project. They were thrilled to allow their characters to appear with other characters from different shows simply because they understood the importance and meaning behind ‘We Are Family.” The article makes it sound like this thing has been around since 9/11, but the creator’s press release was only two months ago.
