I somehow missed that the documentary (Coming soon to a theatre near you!) is about homeschooling.

I think it’s only about homeschooling as it fits into a larger picture of the isolation and indoctrination some christian kids are subjeced to.

It’s about hsing the same way the Andrea Yates story is about hsing.

It’s news only because it’s creepy. A low in journalism.

You’ve seen it? I’d say it sounds as if were going to be creepy but only because it sounds as if it is an accurate depiction of a rather frightening subculture that sadly has too much sway within our current political arena. I can state that as my opinion, but I’d have to admit to not having seen the movie.

No, I haven’t seen it. I’ve seen the reviews. And it was the lifestyle that I was describing as creepy. Which fits right in with what passes for news in my local paper — a whole spread on how “Creepy” Karr is. Creepy stuff that we can cluck at — that’s what seems to sell today.

Did you see the documentary on PHC? It’s called “God’s Next Army” – was on Google video after it showed on TV.

Or how about the Coral Ridge/Kennedy’s film on evolution? The new book is titled: “Evolution’s Fatal Fruit: How Darwin’s Tree of Life Brought Death to Millions.”
