I caught a few minutes of the Today show yesterday. On a segment about how Edwards and Obama were juggling their young kids and campaigning, Edwards said (paraphrase): “The campaign is a great way for the kids to be socialized.” Yeah, he really used the “S” word.

I wonder which campaign consultant told him when and how to use that word?

I don’t know ’bout that. They’re home educating their kids this year. Today only showed his answer to what was obviously a press question. My guess is that the reporter used it first.

Well.. at least he’s referring to socialization through interaction with the real world. I’d be more upset if he’d said that about summer camp or youth church.
