They reminded me of a couple that had gotten into an argument. How ’bout “Do not let the sun go down on your anger”? |

They look a little like headrests, as if your sofa were a row of airplane or van seats? |

What I want to know is if the cat hair blends well with your upholstery. My family room furniture “matches” our Golden Retriever – and that was no accident, let me tell you. Even tho’ she is not allowed ON the furniture, her hair settles on household objects faster than I can vacuum. One of the little-publicized homeschool/housework management tips is that Camouflage Is Everything. Whenever I’ve built a house and had to choose a floor, or replaced flooring in an older house (we’ve moved a bunch), I always get a sample of the “local dirt” to make sure there is as little contrast between the dirt and the floor as possible. If I were getting a cat, I’d need a “golden” one, if said cat were going to sit on the back of the couch like your cats in this very cool picture. And we know my hypothetical cat WOULD sit on the back of the couch, because cats have complete disdain for any presumption that furniture is off-limits to them. And, hypothetical cat would need high ground away from the dog. But maybe your family does a better job with house-keeping and actually keeps things CLEAN rather than hoping the dirt will recede into the background, at least during those REALLY busy weeks. |
