Anyone else have a dog that likes wasabi peas?

One of my dogs will eat *anything*. Carrots, lettuce, onion, whole-shell pistachios, curry. She’s a chunk too. Surprise, surprise. |

Both my dogs, if given the choice between a bone–a real, honest to pasta, piece of cow leg with meat still attached–and an apple core, will choose the apple core every single time. |

With pets, avoid onions & garlic, grapes, raisins, and chocolate. Luckily for one of my cats, though, apple danish isn’t on the list. (I only showed it to her because I thought she’d turn up her nose and leave me alone) |

I have one cat who quietly takes treats and walks off with them, another cat who would sell us out to the Nazis if they rattled a treat bag in front of her, and another cat who pointedly accepts treats only to humor us because we seem to like it when he eats them. That’s exactly backwards when I dangle smoked salmon or lunchmeat in front of them. Then Young Miss Ink turns her nose up and walks away, Lord Smoky turns into a slobbering wreck who practically snaps my hand off, and Master Snark meows loud enough to wake the dead. Yet they all eat the same dry cat food day in and day out. Strange. |
