    I’m beginning to believe that there might be something to the socialization that one can only get in a g-school. It can lead to a rewarding career with the WWE.

    The Dallas school system was rocked by allegations Thursday that staff members at an inner-city high school made students settle their differences by fighting bare-knuckle brawls inside a steel cage.

    The principal and other employees at South Oak Cliff High knew about the cage fights and allowed the practice to continue, according to a 2008 report by school system investigators.

    How many homeschool families have the wherewithal to build a full scale cage in order to provide this same level of socialization?

    UPDATE: Can we please just allow to Texas to secede?

    The allegations come about 10 days after law enforcement authorities reported that care workers at a Corpus Christi institution forced mentally disabled residents to fight each other and recorded the brawls for their entertainment.

    Second the motion . . .
    I finally got around to watching Pelosi’s daughter’s documentary the other night, featuring the most entrenched beliefs of those thronging to McCain-Palin rallies, in their own words egging each other on to go so far as to admit they refuse “on principle” (??) to share this country’s bounty with immigrants, blacks, even voting women (which made Palin a paradox but never mind, I didn’t say these were SMART people.).

    Lincoln may have been right for his times but now it’s clear. These folks need to have their own “state” like the Palestinians or there will never be peace for anyone.

    But how can we get all the Palin supporters to move to Texas? 🙂

    And if they did secede, Obama might have to run against a real R candidate in 2012.

    Could we somehow just get the ideas to secede then? Dale makes a good distinction between people and their stupid ideas, but I’m not sure how it would work out in this case . . .
