    TX Gov. Rick Perry is threatening to have his state secede (again) over the stimulus package. Great idea! But why couldn’t they have done it before Bush became president? Would have saved us all a lot of trouble.

    It does seem churlish to have your guy run the whole nation into the ground and then complain you didn’t get your fair share of influence!

    I started wondering if I was getting MY fair share or if I should feel slighted down here in Florida, and guess what? We have NEVER had a president, not one — the other largest states all have scored multiple presidents (NY, CA, TX, IL)

    So from Tallahassee I say to Texas, what I’ve always said to exceedingly churlish south Florida — shut the hell up!

    I don’t feel sorry for FL. Remember 2000? After TX, GWB was FL’s fault.
