    Most disturbing is that the White House has collaborated with the Department of Education to distribute a study guide to accompany the speech. The guide is chalk full of writing assignments for students, including an instruction for students to write a letter to themselves about what they can do to help President Obama.

    Chalk full? LMAO!

    Our Tallahassee coverage made a funny wrong-word mistake too, this one committed by news reporters and/or editors. Parents who can’t instantly spot it and understand how it changes the meaning — parents who thus could make such errors themselves! — should perhaps recalibrate their civic concern more toward education rather than politics?

    “We’re not a socialist family,” [Mad PS Dad] said. “I don’t approve of that message being shoved down my kids’ throats.”

    To diffuse such beliefs, Leon County School Superintendent Jackie Pons advised principals to use their own discretion in the Web cast viewing.
