FOOD POLICE
Not one state mandates that parents have a degree from a culinary school before feeding their kids at home. No wonder they’re obese.

While I don’t believe in the Food Police any more than anything else the government wants to poke their noses in, I can’t believe children are eating that many fries. Maybe it’s because my family can’t afford to grab fast food every night but we don’t consume fries more than two or three times a month and those are baked in the oven at home. My children drink fruit juice and milk every day. Pop is reserved for times when we are not at home and nothing else is available like when visiting friends. My daughter has friends who have nothing but pop available to drink. Come to think of it, those kids are two years and six years and have no juice or milk available — only pop. |
