A NEW POLL
By popular request 🙂
Please answer in the comments below whether you are currently a home educator or not. Also, how many kids you are home educating.
For the sake of clarity, let’s not include kids enrolled in public cyber schools (including charters) as homeschoolers.

Homeschooling our two children, an 11-year-old son, and a soon to be 14-year-old daughter. This is our second year. My husband helps out a little when he can- when he’s not deployed or in the field- especially with American History, math, and science. |

My fiance and I participate actively in the homeschooling of our 3-year-old niece. Interestingly, we are atheists, and his sister’s family are evangelical Christians. We don’t have any of our own yet, but we plan to soon. |

Teaching (and loving it) 3 daughters – ages 9,7, and almost 4. Just last week a friend asked, “When will you be sending them to school?” I answered, “college.” |

I thought I did something, but I think I’ve been reduced to sperm donor on this thread ;O) Three kids – 6, 4, & 2 – only current formal effort is on the oldest. Daryl, are you a secret agent for the Census Bureau? |

I am not currently homeschooling anyone (no kids yet!). My wife was homeschooled, however. |

Homeschooling two: 7th and 10th grade. I’ve been homeschooling since pre-K, although my eldest went to a private school for first grade. That was an unpleasant experience. Homeschooling often comes up in every day conversations, because we are fairly new in the area and folks ask where my kids go. |
