    Here’s a benefit I hadn’t seen before:

    “You can go to lunch and have whatever is in the refrigerator; it’s not set up for you,” he said with a smile.

    It’s a nice piece profiling a home educating family of eight. Worth a read.

    I too find this statement to be so true:

    “All homeschoolers I know can talk to anyone about anything,” Eric said. “It’s public schoolers that seem shy and nervous.”

    Something else I’ve noticed, particularly in my HEKs, they don’t feel the need to always be in the conversation. A lot of school kids often seem like they are incapable of ever being quiet.
