AIN’T NO WAY
Spunky links approvingly to a list of “Truths” about home education written by the Bluedorns. Number 2 might have been safe in 1994 when the list was compiled. No longer:
2. All Parents are Homeschoolers
The second undeniable truth of Homeschooling is that all parents are Homeschoolers. It’s just that some parents Homeschool more than others.
I’m sure the g-school at home folks would love to see that quote bandied about on homeschooling lists. It just ain’t true (or Truth). (And, in case you’re wondering, I’ve evidently been banned from commenting on her post. I’m not sure why.)
UPDATE: I R A IDJIT! I never realized that Spunky had two nearly identical blogs. What happened– I first saw her post via a Google search. I commented and then went back later to check on the discussion. But this time I used the link in my blogroll. Wrong blog. Of course my comment wasn’t there. I thought I must have offended her somehow with my typo. Please accept my apologies, Spunky. Here’s the link to the post where I did comment.

I didn’t ban you! You made a typo on your first comment and fixed it on your second. I fixed the first and deleted the second. When you emailed to ask if I deleeted you I told you that. Not sure why you think I banned you?!? But it’s not true! Your comment is still there. I have two websites. You must have confused the two. They look identical. You posted on the homeschoolblogger.com webstie but trackbacked to my blogspot. I maintain two identical sites. That must be where the confusion is coming from. Here’s the addy to homeschoolblogger and you’ll see your comment is still there. I would appreciate it if you would clear that up and let your readers know that I DID NOT ban you in your post. It was you confusing my two sites that caused the error NOT me or my disapproval at your disagreeing with me. To repeat your post is there and you have NOT been banned! |

I’ve done that same thing with Spunky’s blogs – commented on one site and then checked the other to follow the comment thread. Maybe Spunky, Inc. should think about downsizing and realign her corporate assets to more efficiently utilize a single communication channel 😉 |

I’ve thought about it COD but at this point the implications of a corporate merger of my two subsidiaries would mean a net loss for Spunky Enterprises. And my CFO would not be happy. (That’s my husband in case anyone was wondering!) |
