Utterly Meaningless

Ya, this is one reason that I don’t like the word “unschool”. It has so many possible interpretations, and not all of them positive.

Life learning is a nice alternative, but it’s two words. And, is one “life learned”?

Ah, semantics. Aren’t they fun?

I try to avoid using the term “unschool”. But in reality, all of the men portrayed had “some school”.

It’s sort of weird, isn’t it? Had these men been truly unschooled, then they wouldn’t be un-schooled….but instead, they were schooled, where they didn’t learn anything that was meaningful enough to them to keep them in school, and thus they are considered un-schooled.
