HE REALLY DID ASK NICELY
Steven Barnes (aka YouthAgainstBush) requested a shout out for his new blog, Empires Fall. From the title you can probably guess where on the political spectrum it falls. Worth a read if you’re not among the 33 percent who are still drinking the Bush Kool-Ade. If you are among that select few, what are you thinking?

I’m not drinking anyone’s Kool-Ade. I also don’t eat hotdogs, apple pie, drink Coca-Cola and shoot fireworks on July 4 in celebration of an event that was negated on October 24, 1945 🙂 |

Keep in mind that about 10% of survey respondents will say they approve of anything. They’re not bright enough to understand. Also, it was a Fox poll that stated these new figures. Unbelievable. |

maybe a better question is….what were the Democrats thinking when they nominated such a poor candidate in 2004 that forced us the choose between tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum in the first place? |

The political campaign reminded me of Lewis Carroll’s absurdity, to the effect that there were three cats: the first cat was the biggest cat in the world, the second cat was even bigger, and the third cat was bigger than the other two put together. (It’s not unlikely he had infinity mathematics in mind…) The Republican candidate was the worst possible choice. The Democrat candidate was even worse than that. And the Green candidate was worse than… well, you get the picture. The Libertarians fielded a dog dressed up as a cat. |
