I wonder if Mr. Farris has ever actually READ the UNCRC. The first provision of it is: “Parents have the primary responsability for a child’s upbringing, but States shall provide them with appropriate assistance and develop child-care institutions.†Anyone who would like to actually READ it can find it at: |

Daryl, I first started writing about HSLDA and the parental rights acts/amendments in 1996 when they were first introduced. I updated things and put them on a blog about a month ago: I apologize for the MS droppings that appear on some browsers. If they appeared in the text I can edit, I would, but they don’t. (^&%$@&^#) anyhow, there is information available there to anyone who wants to learn more about Parental Rights Acts/Amendments and what I think would be devastating affects on the rights of parents to direct the upbringing of their children should they be enacted. My research led me to the exact opposite conclusion – they give the state the right to determine parenting. |
