You gotta love the way HSLDA spins. Check out this statement and see if you can spot the sleight-of-hand:

In 2006, the results were mixed. Endorsed candidates, however, still prevailed in half the close races, and without the presence of Generation Joshua, the results for pro-family and pro-homeschooling candidates could have been much worse.

Language only a lawyer could love.

Wow! There’s gotta be some kind of award for that!

Oh, yeah, there is… “membership dues”…

In two candidate races, they won half the time. Wow – that’s remarkably average.

Ahhh– Bad answer. You missed the key weasel word: “close.” So they won half the close races and got killed in the rest. And since they highlight two close races my guess is they went something like 2-14. Good enough for last place in the NFL.

Remind me, who is HSLDA? Don’t they inspect meat and food production facilities?
