    SIL, a Marine, brought our kids t-shirts from Phuket after her last Pacific tour. 😛

    Hi, I live in Phuket – it’s an island rather than a town. Total area more than 500 square km. The pronunciation is “Poo-Ket”, with the K sounding a bit more like a G.

    Phi Phi is more funny, surely (pronounced Pee Pee) and hey, Bangkok surely beats them both.
