Not too subtle allusion that Obama is the anti-Christ.

Voters will get what they deserve

The hypocrisy of Christians who vote for someone based solely on race yet ignore his views on abortion and homosexual lifestyles is strange. These same people are intolerant of tobacco and alcohol use, worldly music and other things they consider un-Godly. Their devotion, based on curiosity and popularity, will fade quickly once they understand what the candidate’s policies will cost our country.

I’ve been skeptical of the Biblical story concerning the anti-Christ in the last days, but now I’m not.

We have become lovers of ourselves, without natural affection, lovers of pleasures more than of God, denying the power of godliness, teaching false doctrines, seeking worldly knowledge and resisting the truth.

Our pastors have a duty to teach and preach truth and we are called to obey. If you are unwilling to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Anyone willing to hear should listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to our churches: “And I will give to each of you whatever you deserve.”

So voting for McCain is serving the Lord? This sort of blather always confuses me.

It’s because you’re not black, Nance. If you were, you’d realize Obama was created in YOUR image. . .

What I really hate is that people feel that abortion, homosexuality and other “family values” issues are platforms our politicals should run on. How about we drop the non-issues and focus on the economny, education, healthcare, the war(s) etc…

Well, some of the politicians have nothing to say on real issues.

I disagree, Nance. They have positions on most of the issues. The problem is that their positions are so unpopular that if the public was ever allowed to learn what they really wanted to do to the country, those politicians would be run out of the country on a rail.

Right, Daryl. Not nothing. Just nothing new or worthwhile.

Did y’all see Salon’s case that the only difference between Palin and Bush is lipstick?

John Stewart had a bit last night comparing the acceptance speeches by Bush and McCain and how many times almost the same exact lines (of BS) were used.

Recycling is a good thing but this is ridiculous.
