THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING
The Republican chairman in my county is a complete and total idiot. The other day he said early voters were cheapening the outcome of the elections. Today he pens an utterly incoherent Op/Ed.

My favorite part: “The building blocks of marriage include one man, one woman, a benevolent God and a great job . . ” Damn, he really is an idiot! 🙂 Nance |

You have to learn to think out of the box. If you were given the following ten phrases and words, what would write in 250 words or less? lower taxes, less government regulation and freedom This might make a good blog challenge. |

Everyone should earn their own income, take care of their own and perhaps a neighbor or two — through personal action. That is the bedrock of America. Except that we wouldn’t want, you know, needy poor people actually being our neighbors. ‘Cause that would be icky. On one side, there is lower taxes, less government regulation and freedom (with attendant individual responsibility). So that would be the Dems, right? Lower taxes for the bottom 99%, less regulation of our sex lives and our reproductive systems, freedom to marry who we want. Oh wait… |

So America must not be a Christ-worshipping country? I’m pretty sure Jesus earned no income, and called his disciples to stop working and supporting their families for his walk-about . . . |

I had to stop reading, it was giving me such a headache! “everyone should earn their own income” — except all the women, right, who should be home with the kids. Make that *married* women. (full disclosure — I’m a SAHM myself. But not a Republican!) |
