    That’s funny.

In other news, any comment on this story?

I only ask because your Pontius Palin post advanced the notion that Palin is somehow connected to the random nut hollering for Ayer’s death. Is Obama connected to the random nut severely beating a young woman just because of a bumper sticker? I figure internal consistency demands the same answer to both questions.

Not exactly the same, Rob. A reporter who was there heard it. And he has not recanted. When he does, I’ll grant you the internal consistency. Until then…

Reporters are part of the liberal media elite. They can’t be trusted.

Rob, the Obama campaign came out with a gracious comment about the poor, sad (it turns out probably nuts) McCain supporter as this story was unfolding.

Has the McCain campaign made statements about the many real assaults on Obama supporters — the tire slashings, the car vandalism, the spitting, etc.?

We don’t need a tit-for-tat on all of this but I’m seeing one campaign try to elevate the tenor of the debate and the other. . . not.

That’s the difference between a confident campaign and a losing one. I am really looking forward to the fratricidal war we’ll see starting 11/5. Who lost the WH?
