LOYALTY DAY?
Does anyone else find this creepy? Or am I just some kind of disloyal anti-American DFH?

The world is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good is my religion. Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism – how passionately I hate them! |

It’s completely creepy. But not as creepy as some of the answers I came up with to my question: “What does DFH mean?” Anyway. . . 🙂 Nance |

Forget creepy, like the bible it’s obviously contradictory thus can’t be taken literally by any Thinking Citizen. You’d have to be reading it as code and not reality, feeling and not thinking, to blithely reconcile these statements — “Our nation’s veterans started the observance May 1, 1921. . . “The idea of Loyalty Day was formed in 1930. . .” “In 1947, as the Cold War intensified, American veterans were coming back from World War II and saw the communists celebrating May Day. Loyalty Day was originated by the VFW on the east coast in May 1956.” |
