According to Harbin the parent or guardian can be fined up to $1,000 and\/or a year in jail if they are found guilty. In some extreme cases some have even been sent to prison said Harbin.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Some kids just need a push,&#8221; said Harbin. &#8220;Some of these parents just don&#8217;t care about their kid&#8217;s education. The kids that I have the most problems out of I find are not prepared.
