Not a whole lot that&#8217;s new:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Simpsonville Police Chief Charles Reece says an internal affairs investigation is underway and the officer in question is on administrative leave.  &#8220;Whether it was an overreaction to a response, we&#8217;ll find that out when we do the internal affairs thing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;Chief Reece says, \u201cWe&#8217;re looking at all aspects of the case and we&#8217;re going to let internal affairs division run their investigation and we&#8217;ll make the appropriate call when it happens.  I&#8217;m going to do what&#8217;s right and the city&#8217;s going to do what&#8217;s right.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Chief Reece says he expects the investigation to be completed by the end of this week.  It\u2019ll be up to the Solicitor whether or not the charges are prosecuted.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yeah, got to do that IA thing.  This whole story is just plain weird.  <a href=\"http:\/\/news.google.com\/news?q=simpsonville&#038;num=100&#038;hl=en&#038;lr=&#038;client=firefox-a&#038;rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&#038;tab=wn&#038;ie=ISO-8859-1&#038;scoring=d\">Fox News<\/a> is still the only organization that has picked this up.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fox News did another segment on this.
