I’ve met the occasional insane person who is standing around conservatives. If you’re a paranoid schizophrenic or have other issues that make you irrationally fear other people, you’ll more likely get along with people who dislike bigger fed gov and believe that ‘they’ (no matter who they are) shouldn’t have a lot of power over you. PTSD follows trauma, and war traumatizes lots of soldiers, and soldiers are more often conservative, so ya got that going for you too. I sometimes think I’m crazy for coming here and talking with you folks. But I’m thinking there’s nothing inhrent to conservatism that means only loonies can be one. Perhaps someone needs to make a few changes to the DSM r4 (or whatever it is these days)? |
