PSA: TECH HELP NEEDED
Does anyone know if it’s possible to take the RSS feed from one blog and directly import it into another? An enquiring reader wants to know.

Yes – all you need is a script (Perl , javascript, etc) to grab the RSS feed and convert it back to HTML. It does take some geely skills though. See here mikesh...feeds/ |

Thanks. I got a script and installed it. RSS2HTML. But I can’t seem to figure out this cron job thing. Sounds like something that belongs in an adult movie to me. Perhaps it would be easier to simply link to here. BTW, it’s not for a blog. My homeschool blog bit the dust when I forgot to renew the domain name. It’s for a regular parenting type site that I’m in the process of building. |

I stumbled into this today – looks like ti will do what you need without getting mixed up in the Unix command line |
