Christine Fernandez used to home school her children, but now they attend the Florida Virtual Academy.
“It’s not home schooling ’cause we’re not independent. We do have to stick to a schedule,” said Fernandez.

Is it that the message is getting out or is it someone who doesn’t wish to be associated with hs’ing? Maybe she got tired of the in-laws hounding her about her kids not being in g-schools. This comments tell you all you need to know about her: “The difference I could say is if I came into a problem, instead of going through a bunch of books and looking it up and reading it myself, I could go to a teacher and talk to the teacher” The poor dear…to have to go through actual books to solve a problem! Why would anyone want to waste so much time when there’s a trained professional to replace our God-given brains? Ds age 11 said “that’s no way to learn mom!” Amen! |
