CHARLIE BROWN
Why, suddenly, is everybody picking on us?
It’s a bit difficult to nail down the worst thing about “The Adventures of Shark Boy & Lava Girl in 3-D.”
The 3-D is terrible, that’s for sure. So’s the title, obviously. The acting is on a par with any third-grade homeschool holiday recital.

They must let the “new guy” write the movie reviews. Or maybe it’s sour grapes over the N-G Bee… |

But the homeschool holiday recital will almost cetainly be better then the g-school holiday recital. The schoolies get to practice for an hour after school, where the HEKs will have spent months obsessing over every detail 😉 |

Probably meant as just another dig at Robert Rodriquez. His kids are homeschooled. |

Most professional child performers are homeschoolers. So the crack about the third-grade homeschool acting wasn’t really the insult they intended it to be…more like an unintended comment. |

According to today’s Kansas City paper, Robert Rodriguez didn’t get the idea from his son, the boy wrote the screenplay. fwiw |

My daughter got the idea of filmmaking from Robert Rodreguiz. She took filmmaking at the city college four years ago (she was 11). She has almost finished 1 feature script and has 4 more scripts in different stages of completion and is in different stages on several other filming projects. |
