SICK OF CYBER MONDAY
It was a cute marketing gimmick when most folks had high-speed access only at work. Now nearly everyone does their online shopping from Thursday at midnight on. Please kill Cyber Monday once and for all.

Glad I’m not the only one. If I get one more Cyber Monday e-mail, I think I will scream. |

I just took advantage of a free shipping Cyber Monday promo code at Think Geek. |

Actually, I tend to spend T’giving weekend focusing on family, so by that Monday I’m feeling way behind on the xmas prep and eager to get my on-line orders in, lest I miss the mailing deadlines. My kids tend to want the kinds of things not stocked by local big-box emporiums, so on Cyber Monday I’m scoping out on-line comic stores for cool T’s, FunagainGames for board/card games, and Etsy for personalized dice bags. And I *love* to find that even though I missed the Black Friday madness, I might still get a few bucks off my order. But that’s just me 🙂 |
