WIRELESS BLEG
I hope someone sees this who can help. Chelsea will be going away to school in Huntington, WV in August. We need to find a cell service provider who has decent coverage in I-77 between Charleston and the Ohio River. And also in Huntington, of course. This is for safety when she’s driving back to Parkersburg.
Does anyone know who has the best cell phone coverage along I-77 in WV (north of Charleston)?

Have you thought about 2 tin cans and a lot of string? I just checked the coverage map on Sprint – which is what we have. It looks like they cover I-77 just fine, as long as she doesn’t stray off the interstate going to and from. Actually, I would think all the major carriers have the Interstates covered fairly well. |

We have Virgin Mobile who use the Sprint towers. The coverage map is, shall we say, generous. There’s about a 30 mile stretch with no bars. The same thing along US 50 east of Parkersburg. No signal at all. |

Have you thought about 2 tin cans and a lot of string? I like it. No monthly charges. |
