    Anyone else miss this school shooting?

    Four high school students were wounded Friday when at least two young men emerged from a car in a school parking lot and opened fire.

    The shooting occurred about 4:30 p.m. outside Randallstown High School in Baltimore County, where a number of students were lingering after a charity basketball game between local politicians and school faculty members.

    It’s pretty sad when a local shooting doesn’t even get attention.

    I saw the story in the Wash Post yesterday. It didn’t strike me as particularly newsworthy. I can write up so many scool shootings before it gets boring.

    I once told my dad that there have been too many school shootings that now it isn’t newsworthy anymore.
    His reaction was “Great! Now, all those boys won’t get it in their heads to kill people.”

    Maybe CBS can do “The Dark Side of Skool Shootings” and blame it all on the gun industry.
