Let’s see an exposé on “Perverts in the G-Schools.”

Peachtree City Police say Pike County’s school superintendent [Dr. Darryl Dean] tried to solicit sex online from a girl who he thought was 15 years old, but was actually an undercover police officer.

…Dean thought the officer was a homeschooled 15-year-old girl who lived in Peachtree City, Murray said.

…Police believe Dean’s explicit communications occurred while he was on his work computer.

We’ll never see a paper focus on the schools like the ABJ did on home education. The papers and the educrats are way too close for that. And we’re way too easy a target.

I read in the Onion a couple of years ago that studies show that 75% of internet users are FBI agents posing as teenage girls! Duh.

On a serious note, this is about the third story like this in the ATL for the last few months. The last one involved a man corresponding with a woman who was going to turn over her 7 or 8 year old to this guy for sex. He travelled from out of state to meet them. Turns out he was talking to the cops the whole time, and got arrested when he showed up. Sick stuff.

You don’t see any ABJ articles, but every night at least one of Jay Leno’s jokes is about teachers having s** with a minor student. During elections, a study found that many obtained information from late show talk hosts. I am sure that his jokes are affecting public opinion. I would hate to see him turn on us. 😉

Brian, That guy you mentioned sure went through a lot of trouble; traveling from another state and all.

It could have been easier for him if he applied for a job at a local school. Then he would have had a constant supply of people throwing their 7 and 8 years at him and he would have never been suspected.

He knew how to use a computer so we know he was better educated than the average teacher. Maybe he thought that would be too unethical for him.

I really concerned about the comments you are making about the public schools. Your children are obviously going to form a biased opinion based on what you believe. I think you should go get real jobs and let your children live happier lives with other people. Either you are all controlling parents or you’ve had bad experiences in school and want to shelter your children. That’s so sad. I feel sorry for your children. It shouldn’t be allowed.

Have you completely thought out your position on this, “concerned for the children”?
