Not in this case. The hardcore Christian Right took over the SBC about a decade ago. The folks doing the firing here were the hardest of the hardcore. |

I recall the 2002 report that indicated that 88% of Baptists who attended public schools stopped coming to church by the time they turn 18. I don’t know whether it was the Left or the Right that had more trouble with that little bit of Baptist news. |
