Don found some pretty good evidence that we need new lyrics to the national anthem.

Oy, when will we learn? When people talk about the price of freedom, they usually do so in terms of soldiers giving up their lives, etc. But really? It’s giving up the illusion of safety. It’s saying, “I’d rather be free, I’d rather everyone be free, than for me to *feel* safer.” |
