WOW!
“CBS Sunday Morning” just had a long piece on home ed. Couldn’t have asked for a more “pro” presentation. Even the obligatory “S” word discussion was derisively dismissed.
If you’re in a later time zone or can find it online, it’d definitely be worth a watch.

Thanks for the heads-up – I was able to see it, and I agree that it was a nice presentation. The kid and mom they featured were awesome! I love how she had to stifle a laugh when the “s” question was asked. After she’d already talked about taking him out of school for negative socialization reasons, and how they’d traveled all over the world. Now how can I get in on the millions of dollars spent? |

I love that the 2 families in the story are about as far from the stereotype as you can get. |

DH just told me about the segment tonight at dinner. He thought the hs’ers were shown in a very positive light. Finally, some media get-it. |

Nice. They seemed to have a good perspective early on but I didn’t get to see how it turned out on the teevee. |
